Ilya Bliznets

Ilya Bliznets (b. 1997, Russia) is a visual artist working primarily with digital figurative painting. His practice emerged from traditional painting, drawing, and object-based work, and later expanded into the digital environment. Combining painterly thinking with digital tools, he explores texture, artifacts, layering, and materiality within the screen. His works focus on vulnerability, anxiety, emptiness, and inner chaos, capturing the fragile state between psychological disintegration and the attempt to reconstruct oneself.
